Wendy Red Star For this image I had several ideas about what this image was implying. One of the main themes I discussed was about "The American Dream." The image could suggest that since the two kids are looking upon some of America's greatest leaders, their future success could be predicted. They are located at the base of a mountain, in which this could represent both of their lives and their future "paths" to the top. As they "climb” the mountain called Life, they could, or perhaps will, reach greatness as these American leaders once did. I also discussed the similarities and differences between the kids as well as their relationship. The image could suggest that they are siblings, friends, future partners, or even future leaders. I wrote that even if they have differences it does not mean that one kid has more potential than the other. This touches on the issue of equality in American society between men and women.
